All Things
Hello!
Today I made a card for the Ways To Use It challenge over at Splitcoast. We were to have a sentiment be our focal point. I used this beautiful digital image called All Things by McMahon Five Designs. You can find this image at www.mcmahonfivedesign.com. I also added a sweet butterfly sugar pick from Jillibean Soup. The ribbon looks blue, but it is really eggplant envy to match the butterfly wings. I think I had my camera on the wrong setting! :(
Card Recipe:
Image/Stamp-Digital Image called All Things by McMahon Five Designs
Paper-White, Old Olive
Ink-Printer Ink (black)
Accessories-Machine Stitch, Dimensionals, Pearls, Decorative Rectangle Template, Eggplant Envy Ribbon, Butterfly Sugar Pick, Copics
I usually do "cutsie" cards so this one was a bit different for me. Hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by this Thursday!

What's Kickin' Chicken?
TGIF!!!
Another Friday is upon us. Today I made a card for the Free For All challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers. The challenge was to have a group of three or more on your card. I used a very cute digital Easter image called Hatching Eggs by Studio 313. This image was just perfect because of the three eggs! You can find this sweet Easter set at www.mcmahonfivedesign.com. Sticking with the theme I also added three rows of scallops.
Card Recipe:
Image/Stamp-Digital Image called Hatching Eggs by Studio 313
Paper-Kiwi Kiss, White, Kaiser Craft DP, Purple (from the soft subtle SU! collection), Delicate Dots DP
Ink-Eggplant Envy, Printer Ink (black)
Accessories-Sponging, Purple Brads, Curly Label Punch, Dimensionals, Ribbon, Simply Scallops Die-Namics by My Favorite Things
My youngest son got the three Hunger Games books for Christmas and as you may know the movie opened today. Apparently it has broken box office records already. That may be in our plans for the weekend. My oldest son was hired for his first job the other day, so he will be attending orientation tomorrow. I can't believe he is old enough to have a job, not to mention old enough to be starting college next year! We are very proud of our two boys!!! They are both on the high school track team, so my husband and I will be busy attending the oh so loooong track meets! I wouldn't trade it for anything!!!
Have a super weekend and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Hello and Happy Monday!
We sure had some hot temps over the weekend in Minnesota. We reached 80 degrees on Saturday and Sunday! A typical March temperature would be around 42 degrees. I really wanted to turn on the a/c but I didn't! :o)
Today I made a card for the clean and simple challenge over at Splitcoast. Today there was a sketch to follow. I used a new digital image called Sweet Mouse by Studio 313. You can find this cutie at www.mcmahonfivedesign.com. I received my copic order in the mail over the weekend. I need to practice with them but I did use them on my card today. The picture looks like I didn't blend the colors at all, but in person the flower looks totally blended....I promise!!

Denim Bloom
Hello again!
Today I am posting a card that I made for the Ways To Use It challenge over at www.splitcoaststampers.com. We were to use denim on our creation. I used a blue and a white denim repair patch to make my bloom. I just LOVE the Die-Namics by My Favorite Things. Today I used the Pretty Posies Die-Namic and added a pearl brad to the center. I also used this very sweet stamp called Mavis has a Daisy from Stamping Bella. CUTE!!!
I was out at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota over the weekend. My oldest son (17) was diagnosed with diabetes at age two. Every year there is a walk to raise awareness and to raise funds for a cure. I ALWAYS stop at the Archivers when we are there! I picked up some fun new goodies! One of the things I bought was the decorative heart pin that I used on my card today. Isn't it soooo much fun adding to your already way to big collection of accessories?! I also ordered my first set of copics the other day! I cannot wait for them to arrive!!! Oh well, onto the card recipe.
Card Recipe:
Stamp-Mavis has a Daisy from www.stampingbella.com
Ink-Basic Black, Positively Pink
Paper-Kraft, White, Delicate Dots DP
Accessories-Sponging, paper piecing, Large Scalloped Circle Punch, Large Circle Punch, Piercing Tool, Dimensionals, SU Ribbon, Heart Pin (Maya Road), Denim Repair Patches (white & blue), Pearl Brad (Amercian Crafts), Pretty Posies Die-Namics by My Favorite Things, Blue Rhinestones, Flower Folder for Cuddlebug
I appreciate you stopping by today!
